Your new watercolor girl is awesome dreamy!

It's so grand to see you made the newspaper!

The "End of Suburbia" is the best explanation of peak oil + the necessary fasting of the ordinary American way of life that must and will come of it, that I've seen yet.

Thanks for posting such a wealth of interesting stufffs!

I was surprised there was no mention of the vast oil reserves that lie untouched underground in Mexico, but at the end, I saw the copyright date of 2004 + think that may have been unmentionable back then.

May I repost the "End of Surburbia" clip to my own journal ~ for my flist to view?

there was a new african field found last week. still just a drop in the bucket. the last potential big reserve is in uzbekistan, chalmers johnson surmising that the serbian bombing and kosovo, along with afghanistan are all to control that oil.
repost anything you like, good to spread the word!

I'd heard ONE teeny tiny mention of the new African field find.
Apparently it's being downplayed, also I don't watch much tv.

I'd totally believe all that bombing going on - is all about oil.
Back in about 1988ish, I thought the Gulf War was simply the U.S. protecting its interests in oil companies in Kuwait.

Thanks. It's a great flick to spread the word about peak oil production.

hehe : Is THAT a "cannibol" t-shirt you're wearing in the news photo?

Love your bison and beautiful girl with garland!

Unfortunately I can't watch youtube things as my computer is old and barely limping through the Internet now. Have to get a new one soon.

thang-q, dear!
your missing alot, it reminds me of the nabster days. look for one thing and find twenty even cooler things. but it's summer so it's good to not get stuck at these things.

Nice pictures. That first watercolor is precious.

I watched the video clip too. Found it a little too dark of a forecast in the end. They were definitely promoting the urban project, which I believe is wise. They kind of missed out on handling the other end, with the need for some of those people to go back to the land. Which is really the only way that food can be produced locally.

my forecasts have been dark for a long time now. but yeah, back to the land is the only hope. growing our food also gives political autonomy to locals which seems to be a biggest threat to corporate control. they've crushed agrarian cultures around the world at an ever increasing rate.
thanks for the compliment, and good luck with the garden!
